Album: Lover    |   Artist: Taylor Swift

Release Date: 23 Aug 2019
(1 month before my birthday. Coincidence much?)
  1. Based on the pictures I uploaded here, you guys can guess by now that I do not have the physical albums. Well, I love to take risks and I thought, "Okay letz not pre-order this time. We will buy right after the release day." And guess what? No stock in taylorswift.com!! I meant the 4 Deluxes!! Such a death by a thousand cuts!
  2. The first four singles before the album released by my Taylor were Me!, You need to Calm Down, The Archer and then, Lover. My personal favorites are The Archer and Lover.
  3. The Archer - After listening to it hundreds of times on continuous repeat, I still feel sadness clouding the nerve of my herz like a heartbreak prince. Heart wrenching! I could not stand the feelings that I decided to scold Taylor personally in Tumblr with so many 'What the helllll!!'.
  4. Lover - Ohmy.. Initially I thought I have some personal disorders. When I heard this song the first time, I told myself that I am gonna use Lover as the main song for my secret wedding. A wedding which I have no idea will it ever happened based on my paper thin plans. But I have already planned and confirmed. Then, I realized that people in social media said the same thing. I am glad that I declare myself safe from any disorders. This Taylor is a genius!! She wrote this by herself without any co-writers. And it is a masterpiece. I really love it and I remember scolding her again in a nicer way for making me feel like this.
  5. I followed the same usual process when listening to the album the first time. I listened through Spotify. First was to listen generally to the melody and grasping any random lyrics which I could understand. Listening to these without checking the lyrics at least will take me minimum five times. And that is when I heard donuts and peaches many times in The Archer.
  6. My favorites songs in sequence without really checking the lyrics +/- were The Archer, Lover, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Cruel Summer, The Man, Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince, Death by a Thousand Cuts, London Boy, False God, Soon You'll Get Better, Daylight, You need to Calm Down, Me!, Afterglow, I Think He Knows, Itz Nice to Have a Friend.
  7. And then I listened to the whole album everyday like 3-4 times, many many times. The results as you know, I cannot compare any of it as all the songs has its special meaning with different tunes.
  8. In conclusion...
  9. Before I conclude, some of you may say that my review is bias since I like Taylor so much so whatever she writes for sure I will give stars with plus plus. Since you already know me well by now, the only thing comments I care is when ..... oh wait I cannot think of any which I care.
  10. Well, in conclusion, firstly, I suggest you to listen to all of her songs first and open your mind and heart to understand it especially the lyrics and how her songs is written like a story. That is the reason, you will not feel bored even after hundreds of repetition. At least for me and all the Swifties worldwide. I will not force you to try to listen like how I expect you not to force me to listen to your favorite songs...but why not try first like I will if you suggested me to.
  11. Secondly, I will go to her concert anywhere in the world again, like the gorgeous reputation in Tokyo. Maybe not in Canada as I planned initially. Someone managed to convince me to visit Canada this Fall. I don't mind visiting Tokyo again to meet my Lover.
Updated Review: It is November 2019 the 10th today. I managed to purchase TS' Lover when I was at B.C, Canada a month ago. Was starstruck when I saw the physical albums in Walmart at Maple Ridge, B.C. I saw all those four but I purchased only No.3 for me and No.2 as a gift for Jezy Jez. Do not tell Taylor I did not buy all those four deluxe.

And also to add to the above review, Lover is all about the intricate moments of falling in love with someone and how one has to do it in discreet due to circumstances. I love every single tune and lyrics including the live versions of her performances. One of those are Lover in MTV Award and False God in SNL. As usual, Taylor managed to warmth my heart, glow with amore. It is relatable to situations that I went through. Although not all lyrics fit my life but in every songs there are lines which does very well.

As mentioned before, I could listen to it everyday at least 2 times not including the ones already in my head. But also, when I was heartbroken recently, I could not listen to this album at all for 2 weeks. Like literally I could not.even.listen.to.one.song especially Lover and surprisingly, The Archer too. To conclude, that is the impact of Lover and Taylor Swift's genius songwriting.

Album: reputation    |   Artist: Taylor Swift

Release Date: 10 Nov 2017
Alrite, I admire her so much not to the extreme extent that I photo-shopped my pic with her whenever I can. No, I did not.

I respect her business sense, songwriting talents, voice, smartness and I read in social medias that she is nice. I have not met her except like 5 feet away when she was on stage in RED tour.

Based on my observations, she is a genius when she markets her songs and herself. I believe she has a group of PR/Marketing experts to manage her brand and products but I also believe she has the final say in many aspects. Normally one will be good at making a product a 'huha' but when it comes to delivery, product or service is just a 'Neh'. As for her, I noticed she always have something interesting up her sleeves. Personally, I have no idea what to expect from this most anticipated album. After my favourites 'Red' , a Country with tints of pop and '1989' pop album, I wonder how pop can be the next one? After listening to her singles release
since the past 2 months, Look What You Made Me Do, Ready for It, Gorgeous and Call It What You Want , well I thought that is it. That is all. But then, the changes builds up.

The first time I listened to the whole album, focusing merely the melody and glimpse of its lyrics, only halfway through it choked my heartfelt feels. I have not even look through the lyrics in detail.

Today has been 1.5 days that I did both listening and grasping the lyrics.  Like I mentioned before, her lyrics are always filled with storyline, detailed but with mysteries which I guess that is why people like to theorize it. And the best part is the lyrics match our life in specific, for me yes. That is why I guess it will not be a bore and her songs lasted in my daily playlists.
I tried to rank these songs based on my favourites. At first I could, then I failed. Each of these beats have their flawless personalities. Everytime my hands flung here and there synchronizing to the beats. Rhythmically pulsing the suspense with each words.

Let's see how I can describe these songs. I am not a masterchef judge so excuse me on the limitations of these reviews.
1) Getaway Car (Letz have fun and adventure animated to life)
2) End Game (Solid mix with the featured artists and their genre)
3) Dancing with Our Hands Tied (Wow, this happened to me)
4) I Did Something Bad (I carved evil smiles while listening to this and reading through the lyrics. I love it!!)
5) Dress (My face heat up to this)
6) Don't Blame Me (Beautifully soulful and I did not anticipate this.)
7) King of My Heart (Your love is a secret...)
8) This is Why You Can't have Nice Things (HA HA HA!)
9) Delicate (At first I was not really into this but then I get it)
10) So It Goes (All eyes on us...)
11) New Year's Day (Tender sweet. I enjoyed the live performance of this in her RI's house)

1) Ready For It (My most favourite singles. It sparks up the interconnection of the neurons in my brain)
2) Gorgeous (Also my fav. Exactly the descriptions playing in my mind if I meet someone gorgeous)
3) Look What You Made Me Do (A F*** you idiots kind of song that keep repeating in my head)
4) Call It What You Want (A F*** you kind of song but in a gentle way)

Like I mentioned, I do not normally pre-order stuffs. But I did yesterday. The package includes their Glory Days Documentary (Yes!!!) and calendar. Oh, I also love the Glory Day's hoodie which Jade wore in some photos and yeah I got that too. Looking forward to see them in their tour here, Singapore.
Documentary CD:
I cannot wait for the arrival of this order also because I want to watch the documentary so much. If you guys follow them and watch the videos compilations made by fans, you will not just fall in love with their songs but attracted to them as individuals and their relationship with one another. Some of the interviews I watched many times cos they are funny and sassy.

And their documentary is 5 out 5 stars. I hope it can be longer than this though with more shots and behind-the-scenes.

Album: Glory Days - Platinum Edition
Artist: Little Mix

Release Date: 24 Nov 2017
If you are wondering why I can talk about this album if the release date is 2 weeks from now. Well, this  Platinum Edition is the extended version of the Glory Days album released in 2016. Why I am reviewing it now instead of in 2016? Oh because, this page does not exist back then. My excitements and love was bottled up when I have been listening to it repeatedly as my daily playlist.

As a few of you already knew, how I got to this stage as a person awestruck by Little Mix. I knew they have been in the music industry for 5-6 years but since I was in Mars, I only get hold of their songs recently, about 1.5 years.

So, I did a backward research and enjoying their past albums from Glory Days to Get Weird, Salute and DNA. Since I first heard Secret Love Song as a background song of a video compilation in YouTube, I have been attached to LM ever since. I checked out their past music videos, songs, interviews (They are actually funny girls with their own personalities, their bonding with one another), video compilations made by fans, social media feeds and gifs (hahaha).

About this album:-
Okay, I will review these new songs when I received the Platinum CD. If I Get My Way, Is Your Love Enough? and Dear Lover. --- Woots woots... Okay I just received the merch and CD a week ago. Below it goes...

Meanwhile, these are Little Mix's glorious Glory Days playlist. Still, please do not ask me to rank it as I love them all.
1) Touch (Heat up. Lyrics, dances and the rhythm. I love their performance in Xfactor so much. On repeat!)
2) Shout Out to My Ex (Light up your day!! Perrie in an interview when asked abt the song: Everyone has an ex; Some Fans' comments in YouTube: I don't Perrie.)

3) Your Love (Luxurious lovin'. I love this song so much. Like I said I cannot choose which songs are my favourites. )
4) You Gotta Not (Sarcastic in a fun way with tint of let's love if you are fine)
5) Nobody Like You (Yes true..I agree)
6) Power (Powerful start till the end...Rock and pop chemistry)
7) Nothing Else Matters (Sweet as 'Only the birds and the bees know where we go')

7) No More Sad Song (Dancing with danger.)
8) Reggaeton Lento (I have no idea what the spanish words mean and I would like it to remain that way. I love the melody and repeating in my brain's playlist recently)
8) Ooops (I kind of like this. Fall for it since the Xfactor's performance)
9) Down and Dirty (Sexy and hot)
10) Private Show (Intimately flirtatious. And I innocently like this this)

11) If I get My Way (New song for the Platinum edition-- Catchy tune with 'No, this night, no, I don't wanna hear her name
Tonight, no, I don't wanna play her games')
12) F.U (F***. The bass and lyrics. You shld also check out their concert performances shared by Mixers in YouTube)
13) Dear Lover (New song for the Platinum edition. Actually I kind of enjoy this song and its lyrics)
14) Is Your Love Enough (New song for the Platinum edition.)

Can you imagine how a song can make me fall in love with the other ones later?

A colleague of mine sent to me a song before which I did not even open the file. And then one day, I watched a YouTube video with this song as a background clip. I was like "Oh wow! The lyrics!". Then I started to google it. At first, I found the one featuring Jason Derulo including its official music video. Then I told this colleague of mine about this song. And he was like... "Hey, this was the one I sent to you before. But the Part II." (This happened before when he told me to watch Pitch Perfect 1. I said okay okay but didn't really care much).
So, I heard the Part II, and I was like this was the actual one I heard in that compilation video!!!  As of that moment, I have been listening to Secret Love Song Part II a bazillion times. Since then, I checked out other songs of LM which I was so afraid that I will fall in love with them and will be so into everything. And soo... it happens. I love 'Move' (Salute album)... then it goes to Shout Out To My Ex etc etc... I researched everything backwards.

'Hair' is my favourite music video. Casual and cute, and they are extra beautiful, appealing hair and beautiful eyes. I watched this many times. What I can say about this album, I repeated the whole album in the flight from the in-flight entertainment for 4-6 times.

Dear Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh-Ann, if you are reading this, I love you all !!
