So, when your immune system to endure the winter is already at the top level, the -10 deg C in Moscow is well, manageable. At least I can say that I managed to survive walking around without my thermal wear and gloves. I could compare the surviving limit, difference between the first day I arrived in Moscow from Singapore with when I came back from Yakutsk.
Based on my observation, Moscow reminds me of a combination of New York City and London (the influx of people in the subway and the speed of walking), and Manchester (the electric buses). One of the reasons I look forward to visit Moscow is the architectures specifically St Basil Cathedral and Red Square. It was stunning and breathtaking more than I had expected compared to the photos I had seen in the internet. I guess I had snapped probably more than 50 different angles outside the St.Basil. Still I felt like as if it was not enough. I did not expect that arts are everywhere in the city. In their subways, on the streets and in buildings. Carved perfectly with pride. Anyway, one of the things I like about this place is the vast choices of cafes. Cafes are my favourite wherever I travel. My hangout partner, Coffee with surnames Caramel Macchiato or Flat White. By the way, the cakes in Moscow and even in Yakutsk are not sweet at all. That was one of the surprises. I love it!! Food food fooddddd!!
