I am now in Montreal after six months of planning for this trip. After the 24 hours tiring flight, this gentle breeze of the early Fall welcomes me to this country.
It is nearly seven in the evening. I took the opportunity to stretch myself by walking around in Boulevard de Maisonneuve where my apartment is. First of all, it took me quite awhile to search for the right food for my dinner. I mean there are lots and lots of food choices here, Thai, Chinese, Lebanese, cafes, fast food and fast food but I am actually more tired than hungry. So, I ended up choosing my dinner out of convenience that is the vegetarian burger and thick french fries in A&W. Take note that there are no curly fries, Coney dog and root beer float which are the signature ala-carte items in Singapore and Malaysia. This area is quite crowded with mostly students from all over the world since this part of downtown are where the universities such as McGill and Concordia are located. Will explore this area tomorrow. I am not going to share so much tonight. I need to unpack my stuffs and have to go to bed early. I need to be fresh for tomorrow. Meeting my friend, J.
