Levain Bakery, New York City

I found out about Levain Bakery from travel blogs' suggestions. It was one of my 'List of Food to Try' plan. I was more curious and assured of its popularity when I saw Taylor Swift posted a cookie from Levain in her twitter/instagram. So...yes I went ahead with it and guess what? Yes it is...it was so so gigantic. I bought like 10-15pcs back to my hometown and I could actually share a piece of it with my mum and dad, and ate it in a number of days. Yes, for a piece.
I love the double choc and choc chip ones. The oatmeal is not bad though but I still prefer those mix with chocolates. There were lots of other kinds of pastries available, however, ended up I did not purchase any as planned. Reason, I was extremely tired. And now I wonder why I did not at least buy something else.
Anyway, do try these cookies! No regrets!
I did purchase a giftcard from Levain, and sent to Tay with a letter to her NYC apartment. I wonder whether it reaches her. I have no idea what is her unit no.. Just sent to her apartment location. But anywayyyy, I wrote to Mr Postman at the back of the envelope to send back to me if he cannot find her address. But till now, I still have no idea.
Rating:
Service - The gal who served me was helpful.
Taste - 10/10. No Regrets!
Price Range - 4 Dollars per pc.
Food Quality - 5/5
Seating Area - A mini bakery shop. So, its not really meant to hangout.
Worth the walk! I lost my way again. It was supposed to be easy to find.
