The 1989 World Tour - Taylor Swift (8th Nov 2015, Singapore)
Watching her live the first time last year, I knew that it will not be my last concert of hers. So, when she had announced her World Tour in other countries, I was prepared and came out with a number of plans to make sure I will be part of the Swifties to watch her performance in Singapore without encountering the 'Ticket Sold-Out' challenge. One of the plans that was successful was to have two of my colleagues to access the Singapore Sports Hub Tix webpage from about 8 laptops. As you know how her tickets can sold out within half an hour, I did not want to take the risk of losing this time. Thank u to both my colleagues, Mya and Hans for the assistance. Mya got to access the page from her laptop and I got the seat at the Cat 1. Though far away but well...
I did not prepare much before attending the concert. No costumes etc except for buying a new top to feel the vibe of the entertainment. I salute the Swifties who input a lot of efforts, creativity and time to create outfits that varies beautifully. They amplified the energy of the entire stadium and feels.
By the way, this time, I had no issue memorizing her songs because apparently when she released her 1989 album, I knew from then that her lyrics and songs will be my daily communications to speak to my friends and beautify captions in my FB, Instagram etc. Well, if you are not a Swiftie, just listen to her 'Blank Space'... you can just tell off someone whom you are not interested like this ... "I am a nightmare dressed like a daydream". So he can back-off. If your stalker stays put, I suggest that you sing the whole song to him.

I had no doubts in Taylor's brilliance creating the songs and lyrics with her producers and writers. Taylor's and her team's marketing skills are one of those I admired. Sparkled with her talent and brand.
Her World Tours in Singapore was one we Swifties always looked into. When the RED era ended, it was a sad goodbye however the new era had started with a different perspectives of contemporary feels and energy. |
1989 concert was glittered with aspects that focuses on even the insignificance. The bracelet that lit-up in rhythm to her songs, was a charm to the concert experience. It encouraged you to pump your hand up whenever the songs drummed to all the tunes. And then the runaway stage. How thoughtful is that for her to make sure that all her audiences at every angles can see her as near as possible? Come on, it turns 36o degrees. Are you crazie? How amazing was that? So basically, everyone who paid for the same ticket price will have the same experiences. I love you Tay!
